Audrey Mascarenhas has broken her share of trails. At 17, she became the first woman to work in operations at Texaco Canada's Nanticoke refinery in Ontario. Next year, PanCanadian Petroleum brought her to Brooks, Alberta as its first female field operator. Later, as an engineer with Gulf Canada Resources in Moscow, she unexpectedly found herself helping a federal minister write Russia's tax regulations for foreign producers. Today her passion is clean air. "Eliminating hydrocarbon emissions is a cost-effective way to meet new federal and provincial regulations with respect to air pollution and climate change. It's also the right thing to do," says the president of Questor Technology Inc.
